When you buy, you pay on a page run by Dodo Payments, the seller of record. Dodo Payments collects your payment details and email address and handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment status and the email address so we can deliver the download. We never see your card number.
The app
- You choose which features to turn on. Each one asks macOS only for the permission it needs, and Settings shows each permission and why.
- Your own API keys stay in the macOS Keychain. They are never exported, backed up or logged.
- Dictation, meeting and file transcription run on your Mac, with Apple's on-device speech recognition or a local Whisper model through whisper.cpp. If you pick a cloud service for dictation, each take's audio goes to that service.
- Local models through Ollama or LM Studio run on your Mac. Ask Claude from Siri or Shortcuts sends your question to Claude Code in a temporary chat.
- The meeting copilot hears the meeting app on your Mac. Audio stays on the Mac. Only the transcript goes to the AI provider you picked, and only when it answers.
- The assistant sends what you ask to the provider you choose, with your key. Nothing goes to us.
- Stealth leaves every Macadoodle window out of screen sharing, recordings and screenshots when you turn it on.
- The only thing the app sends to us is feedback you choose to send: your message and, if you include them, the app version, build and update channel, macOS version, Mac model and language.
Your choices
You can turn any feature off at any time, and remove a permission in System Settings. Removing the app removes its features.
